My reasons for making this web page is very important to me. Number one, I want to tell you about some outstanding folks that I have met at the William F. Green State Veterans Home. I am telling you that those ladies, and gents are a very special crowd. I volunteer at this home located in Bay Minette, Alabama. We go to church or mass which is held in the facility, we play games, have ice cream or watermelon parties, crafts, or sometimes we just reminisce about past things. Some are even able to go fishing at Billy Chandler's house. This feller also provides the watermelons every now and then, and good catfish dinners.

Number two, my hopes are that I can receive ideas for all the veterans in this home. I know you have a good idea to take back to them, to help break the boredom. Also any messages that I may take back to them would be wonderful. Most are in wheel chairs, so any activities relating to them would be greatly appreciated. Some have family, and others do not. I will post their messages on a board for them to read. I get to read to some that are not able to go to the board. Hopefully, I will be able to build this site with stand up respect for all of them, and others that fought for my FREEDOM. Thank you so much. Linda

My friends page has been up and running for a while, and they have been sent the most special messages. For some reason our page was deleted, and it has taken me a while to get it back together. I bet, I will copy it this time. For all that sent so many great messages, I thank you. I hope there will be new people to visit my friends, and I thank you too. Please be patient, I am searching for all the links, and things I had before. Under Construction is a real thing here. I thank all that come by to visit when the page was down. I gives me great pride to know most of our Americans, do stand tall for our VETERANS, as we all should. Give me a little more time, and hopefully we will be back in the swing.
